Candles

Selected Red Frog Metal Design furniture and accessories are available online in the marketplace at ironwork.com .

CANDLEHOLDERS & CANDELABRA

The collection of fire-holders includes nesting spots for votive candles and dramatic candelabra. Each piece is hand-wrought with a sculptural, utilitarian aesthetic. From small, hand-textured single-candle holders to the found-objects intergrated into the tall candelabra, each piece is custom-crafted to provide a strong textural element to a room.

Candle 1 MOUNTED SCONCES

Adorning the walls with the flutter of flame, wall-mount sconces add an element of metal to a wall. Three different designs interrelate, yet each retains a distinct design. Linear planes, angles and lines interplay on the single-sconces and girandole to reflect the flicker of candlelight.

Table 1 WOOD-TOPPED TABLES

Slabs of salvaged wood combine with the ancient art of blacksmithing in these wood-topped tables. Pierced legs with flared and bolted stretchers, slit-bent detailing, nut-and-bolt cold joins, punching and drifting, and a top aged with the texture of time, lightly sanded and waxed to serve another life. Sizes vary, from small tables to dining-size.

Table 1 CUSTOM TABLES & SURFACES

Heavily worked metal tracery forms the understructure of these tables and benches, as piercing, bends, splits and forge-welds create interlocking patterns that are enhanced by the luminous quality of steel. Tops vary from the fine finish of cherry-wood to the rough-hewn slab atop the bench.

Bookshelf 1 BOOKCASES

Steel plating, upset bars and rivets harmoniously blend the power of the forge with the elegance of a modern look. Shelves are supported by bars threaded through the framing to create a crisp yet textural interpretation of a bookcase. Firescale texture complete the vision.
